It's September already? Argh.

More updates: the missing UK application finally turned up,
as a rejection. Same goes for another UK application and a
France one. The Norway one went into limbo (phone interview
cancelled).

But... I did get a job offer from the Australian one (yay!). I've
been trying to survive the visa application process for some
weeks already and will have to do so for some more weeks.
Besides the complicated and slow way in which Argentine
bureaucracy can work when you need some certificate or
whatnot, it's amazing how good your local bank can completely
screw your account (and a nice chunk of savings along with it).
After 40 days and going on, my account is still floating around
some ThirdWordly version of virtual reality. Does wonders for
your need to pay stuff by also nonexistent credit card, too
(thanks Elvis for old friends in nice places that come to the
rescue and pay your evisa application with their card).  If the
visa gets approved, which it should, I hope to be in Australia
and start working by the end of October as latest (then again,
in Argentina you never know).
